New Stuff

Well it has been like 2 months since my last post. I guess technically it doesn't matter because no one reads this blog anyway. Lol! As I type this my Yudu machine is drying the emulsion onto the screen. I've played with a couple of designs. Managed to stain my screen purple and had the ink on a shirt wash off. I didn't read the directions.... yeah go me... and pre-wash my t-shirts. So that is VERY important as well as making sure to heat set the ink on the shirts. I have a friend that has a billion t-shirt ideas that she wants me to do for her. We'll see how "quick" they can get done. Drying the emulsion also takes FOREVER!!! It was so "discouraging" the first go round. My friend and I were going to make some shirts and it just took too long to dry. So I found it takes about 2 rounds to dry all the way. But maybe that is a curse of living in the humid south?!

I made some Father's Day cards today. My calendar from a previous post still hasn't sold yet. We'll see. It took a long time. It is almost better as a gift rather than selling. There was a fantastic sale at Hobby Lobby today. 50% off of a lot of scrapbook stuff. Yay!!! I also went and bought stuff at a local scrapbook store. Today I broke down and bought my Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper. I LOVE it!!

Well I am going to go hang with Bella and read for a little while. I'll post some t-shirt pictures when I finally get a couple made. :)

I worked for many, many, many, many, hours on this calendar. But I am pleased with the results.

Hi my name is Rae Rae and I am a compulsive blogger. (Hi Rae Rae) The only problem about being a compulsive blogger is that I tend to get logged in to different blogging sites and then I don't update too often. However I thought why not have one dedicated just for my crafting. I found a couple of other people's blogs and thought why not make my own.

I am a novice crafter, but it is something I enjoy doing and love learning more about. I bought my Cricut Expressions machine in December of 2008. I managed to acquire about 20 cartridges and am steadily learning how to use my machine. I am always looking for new ideas and techniques that will make me a better crafter.
